2. Is leather furniture expensive to buy?

Springvale's leather furniture is no more expensive than fabric suites of the same standard. In addition, as our leather furniture lasts much longer it will always represent excellent value for your money.

3. But does leather furniture stain easily?

Most ordinary household stains are easy to remove. Even biro and red wine should present no real difficulty. In addition, the top-quality leather we use has a pigmented protective layer that further enhances stain resistance. Nevertheless, your furniture will remain well protected if you make regular use of the leather conditioner we provide. The conditioner helps the leather retain its resistance to staining and its flexibility and suppleness.

No, but they can afford a very firm sit depending on the model. This is because the deep-buttoning that you see on traditional Chesterfields pulls the leather very tight during the manufacturing process.

We only use full cowhides that are souced mainly in the UK. Our leather is between 1mm to 1.1mm thick, although we do offer some of the more expensive hides which are 1.2mm to 1.3mm thick. However some models are unable to be manufactured in very thick leather.

Yes, although we recommend that it doesn't touch the radiator. Leave two inches space in between the furniture and the radiator if possible.

You will find the true answer with your own experience. However, cats who normally spend time outdoors are the ones who cause the least problems as thier claws are worn down by natural means. House cats would require visits to the vet to have thier claws clipped.
